BIOGRAPHY

Its hard to put a finger on what Sam Kills Two are listening to on their stereo on rainy days but swedish lead singer and songwriter Fred Bjorkvall self-admittedly takes influence from artists such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Nick Drake and Elliott Smith and a manifestation of this is often heard in the sound of this london based three-piece. As a collective the influences are far more diverse and that is what creates the rich and interesting dynamic that signifies Sam Kills Two. ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------- Fred and manchester born guitarist G have gone through a few transformations with the band since meeting through a mutual friend, and deciding, at a Dodgy aftershow party in the staircase between 3rd and 4th floor of Fortress Studios in london, that it would be fun to try out some ideas on their guitars. With a guitarist friend of theirs, as a three piece band, they rehearsed some of Freds early songs in a basement in Homerton, and also made a few modest public appearances before deciding they weren't quite getting the sound they wanted. With things evolving and changing around them, Fred and G have continuously been writing and rehearsing. ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------- In March 2006, after a long search for a much wanted drummer, they found the right man for the job in Matt Bell. Matt fitted into the vibe perfectly and lifted the band to new levels with some really inspiring drumbeats.
