SOME OF MY CREDO.
To me.....a whole lifetime isn't worth one meal(or even several).I value life, happiness, and freedom....all of which go hand in hand, each dependent upon each other....I acknowledge that other sentient beings are like myself......a physical body.......a certain mental capacity.....and similar emotions...... I hurt when I'm struck. I think when I'm confused. And at times I feel angry, happy, or sad........Having pets made me realize just how similar animals are to me...... The cries and the yelps. The growls and the grimaces. And the cute, cute wags of the tail..... All telltale signs of emotion....When threatened, I run or defend..... When threatened, animals run or defend......What I TRULY wish for myself, I must wish for others as well....

Interesting fact about Oscar: He has a very sensitive stomach. There was a time he was on top of a couch with my brother-in-law (Rob) sleeping below. Oscar was semi-asleep when like a gargoyle, he showered barf all over Rob. I sooooo wish I had a camera to capture that moment.
Lulu
aka Loo (not because she's looney.... though sometimes she is.)

Though she IS a little high maintenance,..... everybody loves Lulu regardless.
My brother-in-law's line to her, "Lulu, if I could, I would marry you."
Good thing for my sister, Lulu's not a human. Though she does have those deep soulful eyes which convey soooo much emotion .

This one likes to lick. She loves MANGO, Papaya, Almonds, Walnuts, Pecans, Carrots. She steals my Smoothies and Boca Burgers, and one time my Del Taco Veggie-Burrito when I wasn't looking. She's my Veggie-Dog. :)
Hmm... what else.... she likes to wake up when i wake up.... she likes to eat when i eat... she always wants to play, eat, or cuddle and just be around people...
