About Me
IM A 34 YR OLD NEW YORKER, GRAFITTI ARTIST/ARTSIST/ IM A PROUD PARENT OF a BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER.. IM NOT RELIGIOUS BUT I AM SPIRITUAL. I KEEP GOD IN MY HEART AT ALL TIMES, AND I THANK HIM FOR GIVING ME WHAT I HAVE TODAY.
BEFORE I GET INTO DETAIL, I WANT TO THANK THE EARLY TO MID 1990'S FOR LETTING HIP HOP TAKE IT'S LAST BREATH BEFORE IT DIED IN 99. SO MANY GOOD HITS IN HIP HOP CAME OUT IN THAT DECADE, AS WELL AS GOOD MUSIC THAT IT WOULD BE WRONG IF I DIDNT GIVE THANKS TO THE 90'S.NOW AS FOR THE 80'S I GREW UP IN THAT ERA AND I LOVE IT. EVERYTHING I LEARNED TODAY CONCERNING THE ARTS AND THE URBAN MOVEMENT, I LEARNED IN THAT WONDERFUL DECADE.MUSIC, ART, ETC YOU NAME IT WAS ALIVE AND DOING WELL IN THE 80'S. PEOPLE MY AGE AND OLDER CAN RELATE TO THAT WONDERFUL DECADE.
NOW YOUR PROBABLY LOOKING AT MY PAGE AND ASKING "I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST HIP HOP?" WELL IT STARTED OUT THAT WAY, BUT THE PICS THAT YOU SEE FROM ROCK GROUPS TO HIP HOP TO GRAFITTI IS WHAT I WAS INTO, AND WHAT MANY OTHERS WERE AS WELL. SO I ADDED VIDEO GAMES, FASHION, BMX, SKATEBOARDING, ETC ETC FROM THOSE TIMES.
MOST PEOPLE ASK ME IF IM STUCK IN A TIME MACHINE. YOU KNOW I HAVE TO CONFESS, AND YES I CAN BE AT TIMES, I GUESS THATS WHERE MY REMINICING PART TAKES PLACE. THE KNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE TODAY, AND THE FUN TIMES THAT I HAD BACK THEN I WILL NEVER ERASE FROM MY MEMORY.THINGS WERE MORE PURE, AND ORIGINAL BACK THEN. I CAN HANG WITH WHATS OUT THERE TODAY WITH NO PROBLEM, BUT I ALWAYS GO BACK TO THE PAST TO REMINICE, AND REMEMBER GOOD TIMES.
LET ME ALSO GIVE A SPECIAL THANKS TO LONDON FOR HOLDING MUSIC DOWN IN THE 80'S LIKE NO OTHER. I TELL YOU, LONDON ENGLAND DID WONDERS WITH MUSIC TO ME THATS THE CAPITOL OF MUSIC IN MY EYES.
SO FROM TODAYS YOUTH, TO THE OLDER CATS YOUR ALL WELCOMED TO REQUEST AN ADD FROM ME CAUSE I WILL ADD YOU. IF WE SHARE THE SAME INTEREST THEN IT'S ALL GOOD. HELL EVEN IF WE DONT AND YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW IT WAS BACK THEN, JUST LET ME KNOW.
MUCH RESPECT AND PROPS GOES TO THOSE WHO PAVED THE WAY FOR ARTIST LIKE MY SELF TO CONTINUE TO PRODUCE IN THIS DAY AND AGE.RESPECT TO THOSE HIP HOP PIONEERS, OLD SCHOOL GRAFITTI WRITERS, B-BOYS, AND B-GIRLS, FOR EVER KEEPING IT FUNKY FRESH. AND TO THE 80'S FOR GIVING ME THE TIME OF MY LIFE.ALSO MUCH RESPECT TO THOSE GRAFITTI ARTIST, AND B-BOYS WHO DIDNT HAVE TO GO TO ART SCHOOL OR DANCE SCHOOL TO LEARN ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENCIAL TRADES EVER CREATED BY GHETTO YOUTH. REMEMBER HOW WE DIDNT HAVE MONEY TO BUY AN ART TABLE SO WE USED THE KITCHEN TABLE TO DRAW, WHILE MOMMY COOKED? REMEMBER PLAYING DUDES SKELLY? WHAT ABOUT PINSTRIPE LEE'S?
