From playing in garages and backyards to main stage openers for national acts, Call It a Night (Formerly known as The Bonsters) are holding their own in suburban Hopewell Junction New York. A high energy pop-punk/rock act, Call It a Night consists of Kyle Buckley (Drums), Randy Federighi (Bass/Back Vocals), Rob Garcia (Lead Vocals), Stephen Hakanson (Guitar), and Dan Saari (Guitar), five good friends who want nothing more than to play and spread their music to anyone willing to listen and to as many people as possible. The bands music is described as being filled with heartfelt lyrics, edgy breakdowns and performed with uncompromised emotion leaving fans begging for more in an attempt to combine genres and create a sound that they can call their own. The idea of the band started in 2002 and after several member and a name change over the years i.e. recent additions of Kyle Buckley and Randy Federighi back in October 2005, make now the most solid and productive lineup yet for the band. Some of the bands accomplishments include Opening for Bowling for Soup (Jive records), taking part in the New York Daily News Battle of The Bands, opening for Mest (Maverick) and most recently opening for The Atari’s (Columbia/Sony records) and Cute is what we aim for (Fueled by Ramen). After successfully debuting their demo dubbed “General Sounds from Your Stereo” in May of 2006, offers to take part on several compilation CD’s immediately emerged. As of now the band will be featured on Danimal records warped tour sampler sharing the CD with big Indie bands such as Halifax (Drive-thru records), as well as taking part in the New York Rockers For Life CD to benefit against drinking and driving. Hoping for there big break the band continues to write new songs and book as many shows as possible and head back into Nacirema Studios to release their currently titled E.P. “We Want Out”.
