Rock & Roll For a Cure

Local bands coming together for a cure.

About Me

Rock & Roll for a Cure is what hopes to be an annual event that brings local bands together playing for one cause- The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. All monies raised from admission, CD's and shirts go to benefit this local charity. If you do not know much about what the ACS Relay for Life entails please visit their website @ www.cancer.org Indiviudals as well as most area businesses conduct fundraisers and raise money for this cause, and we are no different.
This idea is to benefit everyone involved. First of all of course is the Relay for Life. Second of all, bringing in some of the best local music together in one event helps bands get their name out there and develop a larger fan base. We all know how music has the ability to change lives and this is no exception!
This years show consists of three nights and 27 amazing local bands. The April 13th and show will be held @ the Outland Ballroom, while the 14th & 15th shows will be at Remmington's Downtown. The owners and managers of these venues have graciously donated their facilities for this cause. The only cost to us is Security and Sound. Please make sure and keep supporting these venues, and your local music scene! Please Check out the lineups below for bands and showtimes.
