I'm an alumni of the University of Madrid, back in my home country Spain! Represent!
But in 1896 I had what you would call a mid-life crisis, and I no longer followedmy beliefs for a rational explaination of God and a meaning of life.
I became the rector at the University of Salamanca in 1901, and stayed with this job for the rest of my life. (This was back before you had to worry about getting laid off, so the company can complete more actively.) I really enjoyed my job, I just had to go back to faith.
So then in 1913, as most of you know, I published my most famous book, by the name of The Tragic Sense of Life in Men and People. Another book, which I consider on of my favorites, is The Agony of Christianity, I pubished in 1925.
Just a random fact: I mastered 14 different languages over my life. Some of which are Spanish, English, French, German, Greek, and even Danish. (But for some odd reason I can't remember any of them but English.)
