Music. Concerts. Staying clean. Re-learning the guitar. That and 80's hair bands. I'm a skier. I used to ride stand-up jetskis, but my old one died and you can only rent waverunners these days. I like finding good sushi restaurants. I lived in LA for 6 years, and sometimes I'm bored on Long Island. But I'm alive, so that's a good thing. I skydive when I can. I like thinking, solving puzzles, shit like that. I'm lazy, but working on it. I like getting massages. I love to read. I travel a lot for work. I'm blessed to have friends spread throughout the country so traveling's usually not so bad. I'm aching for an overseas trip... I've lived in Australia, and have spent time in Israel, Costa Rica, New Zealand, and Honduras. It's been too long since I last went SCUBA diving. I quit smoking. I miss drinking good beer.I also like to work out.
A woman who knows what she wants, as long as I make the list. Someone who wants a family. Jewish would be cool. Someone with all of the above who loves live music, even better. And if you ski/snowboard, excellent.
Anything played with feeling, inspiration, and improvisation. The Grateful Dead and all of its various offshoots. The Who. The Rolling Stones. Dylan. Jimmy Buffett. U2. Springsteen. Most classic rock. Some house and electronic, although most of it kicks up memories of a life I had to leave behind. Very old school rap (Run DMC, Beasties).I've been playing guitar forever, and recently vowed to start learning more about music in order to play lead and be able to move beyond the "campfire" style that I've been playing for the last few years.
Godfather and Godfather 2, Blues Brothers, Better off Dead, the R-Rated Eddie Murphy stuff, all the View Askew/Jay & Silent Bob movies, most of the 80's classics
The Shield, My Name is Earl, 24, Daily Show, Family Guy, South Park, the defunct Tough Crowd With Collin Quinn, Everybody Hates Chris, Bill Maher, Sopranos. I HATE "reality TV" and long for the days of the sitcom.
The Power of One, The Alchemist, everything by Tom Robbins, Chronicles (Volume 1), I Know This Much is True, My Friend Leonard
People who go through bad shit in life and stay clean no matter what.
