Mongo's Barn is an intoxicating' 'lil shack somewhere out the back 40....I think we've all been there before.... we just can't seem to remember the directions.
The boys got together for the first time in July of '05 for a campfire style jam at FINE DAY Campground near the site of Jamboree in the Hills. Little did they know that well over 300 people would show up to watch that night. The evening started with cool covers of The Beatles, The Stray Cats, America, Pink Floyd, and Mellencamp. But as the night rolled on the rowdy crowd chanted "country, country!" Ahh as the saying goes...when in Rome.... or is it dance with the one who brung ya?? Anyway, so out came some Haggard and Cash and the boots began to stomp.
.....and the barn was built.
