About Me

FIRST AND FOREMOST, I AM FOCUSED ON THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF GETTING INTO LAW SCHOOL FOR 2008. I PLAN ON DOING DEFENSE WORK, THOUGH I COULD DO SOME GOOD AS A PROSECUTOR, TOO. I'M SO SICK AND TIRED OF THE SYSTEM SETTING PEOPLE UP TO FAIL THAT I PLAN ON MAKING AS MUCH OF AN IMPACT AS I CAN MAKE. I'M KINDA FED UP WITH CERTAIN MEMBERS OF SOCIETY SITTING ATOP PEDASTALS--ABOVE THE LAW--DOING THEIR DIRT IN THE DARK AND CHEESING IN THE LIGHT.On a lighter note (notice I'm not yelling anymore), I'm in a pretty good place in my life right now. I'm married to the girl of my dreams, doing well in school, really enjoy my job as a journalist covering military news (even though it's the Army) at Fort Jackson and finally have some direction as to where I want to go with my life. I love tattoos, but hate inconsiderate drivers (I pretend I blow all you bastards up with imaginary missles I fire from the headlights of my 'Stang). I love people in general, but hate dickheads who are cruel to animals. Y'all should be shot, you punk bitches. I love animals, obviously, but hate it when they shit in my house (grrrrr!). I love parties, but hate crowds. I know that doesn't really jibe, but I get a little hot under the collar if too many dudes are packed in a tight space (notice I always keep my drink in my left hand so the right is free to...um...ensure a safe distance between me and the next man). I love my country, but hate the "system." I love the 'Dawgs but hate the Gay-tors. I love living life but hate that every day that passes is a day closer to me losing everything and everyone I love. I love God but hate people who claim to know what His will is for me. I love writing, but hate math. Math sucks. I love professional fighting and college football but hate gay sports that really aren't sports but claim to be. Enough on that. I love that I don't care what people think of me but hate that sometimes they think the way they do without knowing me.I'm an easy guy to figure out, because my heart is on my sleeve. I'm not good at hiding things and what you see is what you get. I love passionately and tend to hate the same (though I think I'm starting to grow out of that, thankfully). I'm hot tempered but mild mannered. I say "yes sir" and "yes ma'am" but if you disrespect me, don't be surprised if I punch you in the mouth. Later on, I'll feel bad about it and ask myself when I'll ever learn. I value life now, though I didn't when I was younger. Before, I didn't give a fuck if I made it to the barracks safe and sound or if I got shot dead in the streets. These days I understand how precious and short life is, and I live for the moment. I don't take a lot of the small stuff too seriously because, after all, it's small stuff. I'm somewhat educated, so please don't correct my grammar because it's obvious I know how to speak proper English and use proper grammar. If I use "ebonics" or any other deviant form of our language, it's because I choose to. You definitely risk getting cussed out for saying "you should say 'well' instead of 'good' in that context." Just a word of advice--follow it or don't. Whatever. People who act ghetto in the wrong setting get on my fucking nerves, as do people who are so fucking upitty (is that how you spell it, rich folks?) that they come off as arrogant, pompous asses. I'm not the one, really, to try and show off in front of. First of all because I could care less about your pedigree and, secondly, because I can't promote you and don't know many important people to hook you up with. Lastly, I'm not shy about telling you how fucking gay you sound.Myspace Layout Stealer Pimp Myspace

I'd like to meet:

My grandparents are my heroes. They've been the core of this family for as long as I can remember. They managed to turn this disrespectful, foul-mouthed and nasty-tempered kid into a pretty decent guy, I think. Thank God for them. Setbacks pave the way for comebacks, bitches. This may as well have been me in my teens, mid-twenties and early thirties. :)

Music:

Lord knows I like everything, damn near. Not much country, but I'm a sucker for sentimental shit. I'm from Columbia, so I'm a big Hootie and the Blowfish and Darius Rucker fan. I'm getting big on the Athens, Ga. music scene. It's worth checking out, for those of you who don't know. I get down with 80's bands like Bon Jovi, Motley Crue and Quiet Riot, among others. Billy Ocean is one of my favorites from back in the day. I love rap, but I'm not too high on these new dudes. I like Run DMC and that generation up to the early 90's West Coast gangsta shit--Dre, Snoop, Warren G, so on and so forth. As far as the new shit, 50 Cent and Em are a couple of my favs, but most of these dudes are just sorry. Oh, I love Sir Mix A Lot. Favorite of all time, though, is (drum roll) Tupac. His shit wasn't for the charts, though he had plenty of success there. It was from the soul. He wasn't perfect, but it's a damn shame that he was taken from us before he had the chance to reach his potential.

Government Asking For Trouble

This will be short and sweet, too, as I don't have the time or inclination to stay up all night making a political point.  For the most part, I'm a supporter of our government.  I'm a Unite...

Fucking Warriors

I'm not big on "reality" shows--never have been.  Mainly because I know the so-called reality part is bullshit, for the most part.  For one, most of those uppity ass people who are on things...

A kinder, gentler me

Somewhere in my past readings, I remember coming across a theory that everything we think, say and do-- every thought, word and deed-- leaves our consciousness and becomes energy. It runs rampant in t...
