My grandparents are my heroes. They've been the core of this family for as long as I can remember. They managed to turn this disrespectful, foul-mouthed and nasty-tempered kid into a pretty decent guy, I think. Thank God for them. Setbacks pave the way for comebacks, bitches. This may as well have been me in my teens, mid-twenties and early thirties. :)

Lord knows I like everything, damn near. Not much country, but I'm a sucker for sentimental shit. I'm from Columbia, so I'm a big Hootie and the Blowfish and Darius Rucker fan. I'm getting big on the Athens, Ga. music scene. It's worth checking out, for those of you who don't know. I get down with 80's bands like Bon Jovi, Motley Crue and Quiet Riot, among others. Billy Ocean is one of my favorites from back in the day. I love rap, but I'm not too high on these new dudes. I like Run DMC and that generation up to the early 90's West Coast gangsta shit--Dre, Snoop, Warren G, so on and so forth. As far as the new shit, 50 Cent and Em are a couple of my favs, but most of these dudes are just sorry. Oh, I love Sir Mix A Lot. Favorite of all time, though, is (drum roll) Tupac. His shit wasn't for the charts, though he had plenty of success there. It was from the soul. He wasn't perfect, but it's a damn shame that he was taken from us before he had the chance to reach his potential.
