About Me

Hey, I'm Dave. I live in London at the moment, but I'm originally from the south coast... I'm a Christian and I wanna live in a way which honours that - loving all people and loving God... I'm a student, studying Theology, which has its benefits and drawbacks but which is great overall. I play the guitar and sometimes sing a little... I love music so much... I love to read and learn more and gain new perspectives on life... I enjoy travelling and have been pretty lucky in that I've seen lots of countries... I'll play pretty much any sport although my physical recreation of choice is football. My favourite thing to do of all time is to hang out with friends. Awesomeness.

My Interests

Music - Reading - Playing Guitar - Theology - Travelling - Chilling With Friends

I'd like to meet:

Aaron Weiss from mewithoutYou. Anyone really though. Plus lots of dead people.

Music:

Alexisonfire - Thrice - Nine Black Alps - Thursday - Pretty Girls Make Graves - UnderOath - Brand New - Death From Above 1979 - Norma Jean - MuteMath - The Fall of Troy - The Mars Volta - Death Cab For Cutie - Rage - At The Drive-In - The Plymouths - Imogen Heap - mewithoutYou - Interpol - Biffy Clyro - Bloc Party - Dredg... The List Goes On... And On And On...

Movies:

Man, I see in fight club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.

Television:

Family Guy. Scrubs. Alan Partridge. Ray Mears! I'm Not A Big TV Person. Or so I claim...

Books:

The Bible. There are other good books too though. Maybe someday I'll get to filling this section in better...

Heroes:

Jesus Christ. General Booth. Aaron Weiss. Ghandi. Mother Theresa. Anyone who shows genuine love where it's easier to hate.

My Blog

i have a blog here...
