I am here for Friends

About Me

This is my idea of a perfect day - sleep in, go to the beach for three or four hours, an afternoon baseball game (Wrigley Field would be the best) and top it off with a live concert at night. So far I've done three of the four in the same day. Still waiting for the perfect day...I fancy myself a world class karaoke singer - the more you drink the more you believe it - I plan to quit my job and travel to Japan to embark on a karaoke tour thus coming closer to my eventual goal of world domination. One of my goals in life is to visit every major league park in the country. Here's where I've been. Memorial Stadium, Camden Yards, Fenway, Wrigley, Yankee Stadium, Busch (old), Busch (new), The Vet, Philly (new), HHH Dome, Comisky, Coors Field, Jacobs Field, Anaheim, Cinn (old), Kansas City, RFK and PNC Park. Unfortunately, I did not make it to any new parks this year. I am working on my fast ball, it's currently up to about 30 mph, so I'm figuring I've got to be on someone's scouting report by now.
You Belong in New York City
You're an energetic, ambitious woman.
And only NYC is fast enough for you.
Maybe you'll set yourself up with a killer career
Or simply take in all the city has to offer. What City Do You Belong In?
You Are Champagne
A true mystery, no one can quite figure you out...
That is, until you start drinking. Then you tend to let loose.
You're fun to drink with, but it definitely takes you a few drinks to loosen up.
You prefer to date a man who likes the finer things in life... like a five star dinner with that champagne. What Alcoholic Drink Are You?
Guys Like That You're Fun
You're the type of girl guys brag about knowing
That's because you're cool, funny, and laid back
You're smart enough to know how to be one of the guys
But flirty enough to know how to make them all want you What Do Guys Like About You?
You Are Summer!
Outgoing
Friendly
Flirty
Cute
Fun
What Season Are You?

My Interests

College basketball - Go Cats!, baseball - Go Cubs!, the beach, live music, traveling, sunny days, my road bike, fresh cut grass and overpaying for designer labels.

I'd like to meet:

George W, George Clooney, Elvis and the woman that wrote the Sweet Potato Queens books. I've been fortunate enough in my life to have already met some really, really cool and interesting people ranging from rock stars to my local homeless buddies. Live and let live. Everybody is interesting in some way or the other.WHO I WOULD NOT LIKE TO MEET - random freaks and angry people who troll the internet looking for God knows what. I find the interent "etiqutte" to be very interesting as people will send you emails with things that they would never say to you in person.

Music:

Little bit of everything but especially country. I am a repressed disco queen and a child of all types of 80's rock from AC/DC to hair bands. Also blues but definately not jazz. And here's something most people don't know about me. I played classical piano and competed for 7 years.
Jason Aldean - Why

Movies:

Rather than go to the movies, I seem to watch the ones I really like about 100x each. Classics include, Coming to America, A Few Good Men, Shawshank Redemption, Swingers, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, About Last Night. Girly movies include Legally Blonde, Gone with the Wind, Serendipity and Ever After. I have an almost boylike ability to quote great movie lines.

Television:

Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy, The amazing race, any medical show about really gross body deformities and NCAA tourney. I watch more than a healthy amount of E! and the Lifetime channel.

Books:

I'm writing one. You can only hope you're not in it...or else you're guilty of something!

Heroes:

Hong Kong Phooey. As a kid I was convinced I had super powers and believed I was either Wonder Woman or Mighty Isis. I have still been known to fly around in my invisible plane - unfortunately everyone else can still see me. But really, my grandfather, my middle school principle, my uncle G, my college professor CA and everyone else who lives an inspired full life and has encouraged me to do the same.
