About Me

I live in the moment, I try to experience the day like it is my last one. I play drums/record/tour in Century Media recording artist, Eyes of Fire. I also play in The Angels Whispered Danger and Destroy Judas, both are recording new records. I am still working on my experimental electronic art being released under the name Nickysick whenever I decide to actually finish it. I still proudly endorse Pork Pie drums, Evans drumheads, Instanbul/Alchemy cymbals.
Here's some reviews of the last Eyes of Fire cd 'Prisons'
It's the first disc set for release in 2006 that I've heard, and it's hard to imagine much topping this. After first listen I was just laying on my floor, letting it sink in. That doesn't happen often with metal discs. A stunning piece of work, one which hopefully gets these guys the attention their debut should have. 2006 Prisons/review Brave Words Bloody Knuckles Rating : 9/10Eyes Of Fire prove that extreme music can be subtle, intelligent, and even romantic at times, and still kick the metal up your ass. REVOLVER Magazine
This band is in a genre all its own, Prisons will be the first disc of 2006 to melt yer mind, and I dunno what the hell is gonna compete with this. With Eyes of Fire's mix of melody and apocalyptic abrasion, and the buildup, journey and climax its music contains, most metal bands should be shaking in their booties at the thought of releasing an album after this one. CHORD Magazine
There is just something about the way the band grinds away and ultimately smothers with its music, producing a constant feeling of anxiety, yet still hooking you with expertly written melodies. The overall intensity of "Prisons" makes it an album that works better when it is consumed whole. A song-by-song sampling only leaves you uneasy and wanting. The investment of time pays off handsomely. Once the EYES OF FIRE addiction takes hold, kicking the habit becomes a near impossibility.

"EYES OF FIRE are a deadly emotional pedigree for all to behold." -- Unrestrained
"Eyes Of Fire offer a preview of where modern metal is heading..." --The PRP
The big question is: what can this band possible do to get any better? They have already released two of the most solid and original pieces of music I have heard in the past year or so. Well, if they can top this one, then they have reserved a permanent place on my all time top ten bands.Rating 95/100 Stereokiller I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)Here's my band's video from 2006 Eyes Of Fire - It All Dies Today
