About Me

Myspace lockdown: I deleted close to 150 friends and changed a bunch of my privacy settings because things were getting way too annoying (bands, event invites, etc.). If I deleted you accidentally, I assure you it wasn't intentional. My last name is McCormick if you'd like to add me.

in lieu of a survey that asks if i've eaten a bag of oreos, here are some random facts:
  • I listen to a ton of music, and rarely watch TV (except for the shows on Tivo). I'm the guy who always remembers the name of the song, the artist, and the album of the song on the radio. I keep a scrapbook instead of a photo album. And no, I don't use the cheesy stickers and scissors and crap. It's just a book. With scraps in it. I'm a computer dork. Deal with it. I like to meet new people. I read at least a magazine a day. Mostly trade magazines for my job. Didn't I tell you I was a dork? I put premium gas in my car. I'm often the bartender at the party. I like to write, but I rarely have the time to do so. Candy is my weakness. I always remember really insigificant things like TV and Movie quotes, but I'll probably forget your name. People always take me more seriously then I want them to. Never ate a bag of oreos, but freshman year of college I ate two bags of chewy chips ahoy at once. I use sticky notes at work, and plenty of them.
That should give you an idea, get to know me if you're still nosy. You can catch me on AIM or Y!M, my screenname is dresskevin.
BY POPULAR DEMAND! An additional list!
I have in the past suffered from insomnia.
  • I spend my Sundays laying in bed, watching romantic comedies, eating Chinese food, and watching Desperate Housewives. There are VERY few exceptions to this rule. Sorry.
  • I very rarely schedule anything with people more than a day or two in advance. If I've scheduled something with you longer than that, you're special.
  • Favorite Beer? Miller High Life, The Champagne of Bottle Beer.
  • I once didn't speak to my best friend for a year out of principle. When we rectified our differences, we complimented each other on how strong-willed we were.
  • Typical conversations with me: bad jokes, silly sounds, and sarcasm.
  • I've never had a Big Mac or a Whopper in my life.
  • Was I the only person who enjoyed the cool, refreshing, taste of Crystal Pepsi?
  • Some pet peeves: using allergies as an excuse, people who only drink water, starting a speech with "Webster defines ...", and small-talk.
  • Sometimes I go on Wikipedia to look up "trolley cars" and find myself 3 hours later reading about " Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo ". I love Wikipedia.
  • My Interests

running, lifting, saturns, scca solo autocross, thursday poker, virtual dj, pop music, karaoke, driving & road trips, working on my crazy websites and projects

    I'd like to meet:

I've been single for a year and a half. Clearly one of the most under-rated stages of life. It's been good, but I have that disturbing feeling that I'm starting to develop a healthy set of emotions again. I'm starting to tolerate less and be more discriminative with the people I meet, if you know what I mean. With that in mind, everything I've said in the past remains truer than ever:

I admire people who go with the flow, accept people for who they are, seek out their goals, care about themselves, and don't see the world in black and white. I found a great list online that really captures the type of people I like being with:
    -ADVENTUROUS
    -SPONTANEOUS
    -STRONG
    -UP FOR A CHALLENGE
    -GOOD WIT (SARCASM)
    -SOPHISTICATION
    -OPTIMIST
    -NOT AFRAID TO TAKE CHANCES

And the things I could really do without (most of the time): DRAMA, NEEDINESS, INDECISIVENESS, FLAKINESS. I love playing games, but don't convince me that you're a bitch, either.

You are Uncle Rico and could throw a football over
    them mountains.

Which Napoleon Dynamite character are you?
