It feels strangely uncomfortable trying to sum myself up like this but I'll take a crack at it... I'm from The Big Island of Hawaii but moved to Sonoma, California when I was 7. I consider myself to be a true California girl though! I'm half dutch and half Vietnamese so it makes for a very random and unusual mix of being but that's how I like it--out of the ordinary. I just recently moved to San Francisco seeking a bit more culture and stimulation than Santa Barbara had to offer. I really did love it there but I got other businass to attend to elsewhere. I'm hoping to pursue a career in both Journalism and International Relations. I'm very ambitious and real. I have an intense passion for traveling the world and I want to devote my life to it. I am probably the most impatient person you'll ever meet and I can't say for sure if that's ever gonna change. Discretion is key (chances are you can figure out a lot more about a person by listening to them rather than talking). I have a hard time with routine...I feel like I could be doing a whole other new thing that I've never done before than doing the same thing day in and day out. VERY spontaneous! I would say I'm an excellent judge of character which makes me appear aloof and judgmental sometimes because I pretty much decide within the first few minutes of meeting someone if I ever want to talk to them again. I talk to strangers a lot because I try to have the outlook that everyone can enlighten me in some way or another. I notice that the people who I maintain lasting friendships with are the ones who aren't afraid to be silly and eccentric. Normal is BORING! I laugh at people who try too hard to fit in.I would like to spend a year or two living a simple life in an impoverished country because I think that it could teach me so much about life that growing up as an American has obscured from my perspective--in other words true happiness can be found without needing a product or brand name to make me feel content! I couldn't ask for a better group of friends and the dynamic among us is something I treasure greatly.
