On the real it was 2000 july/aug- or somewhere around there, I was walkin down the street bumpin some BONE-THUGS and this guy walked out of his pad & stopped me to asked if "i liked hip-hop?"... i said yeah! then he asked do you drink brew?....... yes i do.Then he said, herb?? i smiled and said but-of-cors. right then he asked me if i wanted to roll up in his lab. I said WORD! I walked in his crib and saw a phat computer, 3 keybords, 2 turntables & madd records with a guitar and two others... -a gang of musicical stuff-, a bong and a 24 case of the silver bullit! There was a guy sittin in the room, i said "peace & blessings", my name is Habit & he said "Reck"........we made a song that same day. And have'nt stopped since. 6 years later rollin with 2 compilation albums, 16/20 tracks on each,plus a poop-load of other hits that were just for us. (Reck and I getting to know each other switchin mics with one another). Advance1 started TasteBuds (TB) but i feel all three of us make TB what it is today..3B1 (it stands for"Better Beates Bureau!"... three B one... get it ?)or you can take it a step further and say (the father the Son and the Holy Ghost... 3 Be One... get it ?) i feel we are another one out of the many vains in the body that is hip-hop and keeps the heart pumpin... some things don't help the heart, they suck the heart dry, so thats why we and others like us are here to keep hip-hop on the tip of your "TASTEBUDS" peace & blessings!
