I smile when I see a cresent moon because it reminds me of the cheshire cat's grin in Alice in Wonderland. I laugh out loud when I read something funny in a book, no matter where I am. I cry when I watch Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I scream for joy when I remember a line for a play. I pray for my family before I pray for myself. I am semi-obsessed with the scent of vanilla (whether it's in lotion, candles, food...anything vanilla!). I admire people who can be openly goofy, who see the beauty in everything, and who never give up. I like candles, Disney, monkeys, cats, seeing people accomplish dreams, Ben & Jerry's Karmel Sutra ice cream, rain, the game Taboo, Sex and the City reruns, Jalepeno chips, summer dresses, independent media, bright colors, a coke and a smile, the smell of paint and gas (I don't sniff it but if I happen to get a whiff I won't complain), activism, change, meaningful tattoos, peach tea, the black arts movement, children laughing, live music, natural hair, the word fabulous.I don't like negativity, diet soda, miscommunication, dirty fingernails, cottage cheese, reptiles, rainbow flip flops, America's Next Top Model, sci-fi movies, cheap vodka (Aristocrat and Dubra), Camel's cigarettes, dirty bathtubs, laziness, excuses. Don't respect atheists, liars, theives, hypocrites, people who speak on subjects they have no knowledge of, cheap people, cheaters, mean people, bigots, racists, fearful.Both lists could go on for days. Music:

I love music. Everything about it...the way it can speak to your soul, make you feel like someone undertands you, or just put a smile on your face. I live and thrive off of music. I listen to everything...and yes, I mean everything. Country, Reggae, Rock, Classical, Jazz, Alternative, Garage, R&B, Gospel, Hip Hop, Folk...you name it and I'm sure I listen to it and if I haven't I am fully open to giving it a try.

Movies:

Anything that inspires me or makes me laugh, think, cry, jump, or curse. Particular favorites at the moment: Pillow Talk, Timecode, Calamity Jane, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Bamboozled, The Terminal, Joy Luck Club, Erin Brockovich, Usual Suspects, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Television:

I don't watch much. When I do, I love to watch the Food Network! And old reruns like Hangin' With Mr. Cooper, Living Single, Martin, Will and Grace, Roseanne, Jamie Foxx, etc.
