I have been a DJ since the mid 80s. I have played all genres over that time but keep coming back to Hip Hop/R&B. I am starting to learn my way around trance and hope to be able to hold my own there like I do with Hip Hop/R&B.
I've worked in many places, The Graduate Santa Barbara, Glam Slam LA, House of Blues LA, Variety Arts Center LA, Century club, to name a few. I have no style as of yet. Still changing my self about.
I had put my tables away for a about 5 years in the late 1990s. Late in 2000 I started getting back into the swing of things. After moving to Vegas 3 years ago I made some connections I hope to have for life. Good friends all the way around.
Now I'm back in the Game and plan to start battling again in 2007.
For those of you in the know, I was formerly DJ Eclipse. When I came back from my hiatus, I didn't think I was worthy of the name and definitely was not about to battle Eclipse Tech ( Xecutioners ) for my name back haha . So now you have DJ Hologram. or as Mickie Finnz likes to put it " Holla - gram".
On the other side I have been doing Sound and lighting for just as long. I held the positions of Head Sound Engineer at House of Blues LA when they opened up after Jeff Dunn (the first Head sound engineer and FOH for the Black Crows) left for tour.
I also held the position of Technical Director for Glam Slam LA and Variety Arts Center .
I've done a few tours with the likes of Prince, Tonny Bennet and others.
