About Me

I am a Christian woman, a wife, mother, and developmental pediatrician. My priorities are pretty much God, husband, kids, and others (especially my patients, who are all gifts from above). I am blessed to have an awesome husband, 4 great kids (2 bio, 2 step), and many wonderful friends. I attend a great, Bible-based, mission-minded Church in Burke, VA. This summer, my daughter, Caitlin, and I will travel to West Virginia on a mission trip. We are very excited about it! Later in the summer, we will travel to the beach for a real vacation. Cool!I enjoy hanging out at home with my family, listening to Christian music (especially Steven Curtis Chapman and Mercy Me), and traveling. Maine is a current favorite destination. My greatest blessing in life is knowing Jesus as my Lord and Savior...I pray that everyone who reads this knows Him, too.

My Interests

OK, I admit it, I am addicted to HGTV and the Food Network...ugh! I can't help myself! Seriously, though, I love reading the Bible and Christian literature...a recent excellent read was "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. I highly recommend it. Oh, and I love throwing parties with my husband! (That explains the HGTV/Food Network addictions).
