About Me

MAZIKEEN regret to announce the departure of singer / songwriter / guitarist and founding member Richard Teal. Remaining band members Dave Martin (guitar), Carl Brookes (bass) and Michael Diskin (drums) are deeply saddened by this announcement, but would like to thank Rich for his invaluable contribution to the band over the past seven years. His musical ability and infectious personality will be a huge loss... We would like to wish him and his family all the very best for the future, and there's no doubt we will remain the best of friends.Following much deliberation, the remaining members of the group have elected to continue, initially as a three-piece. However, the band is actively seeking a NEW LEAD VOCALIST, so anyone out there who thinks they've got the "X-Factor", please contact us via this site, or alternatively drop us an email: [email protected] Also, a change of name is in the offing, so keep your eyes peeled for future announcements! In the meantime, the guys will continue to meet on a weekly basis to write / rehearse new material.
