The young 18-year-old chose basketball and music, but mainly music, his true passion. Due to a heart murmor his basketball career was finished. His main influence and motivation is his family. Family members being involved with music and father being a reggae producer, grew interest for music in the young rapper's heart. With his mom passing away while Jay was only 14, he took matters into his own hands. Never having a job a day in his life he always managed to keep his head above water. He took rap very seriously at age 14, starting a group with queens native Po "10" chu. Po got locked up so he put out a mixtape with Saint, another queens native (the mixtape also featured Po "10" chu). The response form the mixtape was crazy an it was on from there. Hooking up with K Dot who wasnt much older than him, made him grown another mantality an they took it to another level. Now with 9 mixtape apperances, various DVD apperances, radio interviews, live performances he is ready 4 the industry. From Da Young Fucka, to The Versitile Hot 1 (VH1), to now Million Dolla Holla.
