About Me

Byron
Despite the incident where he tore down and threw away the printout of Jackson's best bowling score and the time he ran the Jaynesy Sidewalk ad with the enlarged head 'Brian' has consistently shown himself to be the best boss ever as well as a respected entrepreneur in the skateboarding world. A goatee bearded, double earring wearing legend.
Matt Boulton
Big muscles, fast cars and vests in winter. Matt once managed to lose a weeks takings by going for a skate with them in his bag and not keeping his eye on it. A hero to the boys and a pin up for the girls, he has carried the weight of these responsibilities on his shoulders for many years. Perhaps that's why he's so short.
Jaynesy
Holder of the shop record for glass counter breakages at three. Eased into the job with the Surbiton branch solo shift where he would sleep on the sofa with his feet overhanging in front of the door so that customers would wake him upon entering. Also noted for his contest commentaries and ridiculous Kane FM radio ad.
Ben Coughlan
Mr. Motivator himself. Film, skate, edit, promote, film, skate, edit, promote. Ben's dedication to Ollies deserves an award.
Rob Matthieson
Sleepy eyed in the mornings but then after his haribo, chocolate and coca-cola lunches pure hecticness.
Wardy
It became apparent shortly after Sam was employed that he actually knew every single person in Surrey and the surrounding counties. He is also the only Ollies worker in history to unknowingly set up a board with a truck on the wrong way round.
Mark Jackson
Essence.
Mike Haddock, Pistol Pete, James Buckley, Gavin Blatchford, Robert Swabey, Paul Shier, Adrian French.

Love Skateboarding

It's no secret that up and down the country independent skateboard shops are dropping like flies. This is of course upsetting but what's even sadder, and painfully ironic, is the reason for this trend...
