His music -- characterized by rich melodies, emotive singing and strong (if arbitrary) use of rhythm/texture -- is always engaging.....not to mention, incredibly fun to listen to." - Rich Wade (Swarthmore Ear):::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ::::::::::::::::::::::I’ve been composing, performing, engineering and producing music since 1978’s beatlesque rock opera, Furry Family Chronicles. Freedomquest, my flagship band from the early-80’s to early-90’s, played existential folk-jazz. Hoppy the Frog (from the mid-90’s) featured childrens songs, storytelling and free improvisation. I expanded my palette to include ’industrial’ (my workout band, Muscle Factory) and ’world’ (my transexual band, Dyke) in the latter part of that decade. In the 2000’s I foreshadowed the ’freak folk’ movement with The Self Help Glee Club, whose Practical Eugenics garnered praise and accolades within the republican community, while moonlighting with The Openminded Men. Two documentaries were made about me and I made front covers everywhere.....so I rose to the occasion with The Antisocial Stalker followed by Pedophile, which were both MySpace-inspired reality bands. Everyone got scared and ran away. I quickly embarked on my newest project, Tantric Polyamory Workshop, which alternates between instructional readings and songs: all performed before a backdrop of rigorous erotica. I’m constantly growing as a musician and always welcome the opportunity to play for an audience of music lovers.
