alice in wonderland is my favourite of all time...i also like critical writing about sex & relationships, for instance against love by laura kipnis and the sexual life of catherine m....novels that are dense or thick enough to leave an impression such as life a user's manual by perec too loud a solitude by hrabal, djuna barnes' nightwood, clarice lispector's the passion according to gh + musil's man without qualities....contemporary poetry johanna drucker, juliana spahr, also genet's poetry...sci fi particularly stanislaw lem, ursula k le guin, william gibson & octavia butler (i haven't read a lot of the more canonical stuff)...theory by people who know that the point is to change it: sara ahmed, stephen muecke, chela sandoval, andrew ross, deleuze & guattari, derrida, spivak...
