i smile a lot. i am a social eater. i love taking pictures. my friends are my lifeline and my own personal god. peanut butter and chocolate control most of my actions. i enjoy learning about languages, communication, culture, history and people. my majors (sociology and education) fit me perfectly. i love animals and the concept of people. i sing loud and drive fast. i watch documentaries. i fit nicely in most overhead compartments. anyone that can make me laugh wholeheartedly can quickly find their way to my heart. i read. i dance, but only when no one is looking. i look for ways to improve myself and my relationships with the world. i am not overly exciting, and blend easily into a crowd, but i know what i like, and i will not let that be taken from me. i am looking for new ways to take over the world everyday.
The majority of people I would like to meet are dead.
Mainly, this guy:
And, of course, the frog.
Oh, I'd also like to meet people with a good grasp on life, who don't think the world revolves around them, and are able to hold an interesting, intellectual conversation for more than 22.5 seconds.
let me see if i can name some names.. nirvana, green day, jack off jill, tool, weezer, radiohead, the beach boys, the ramones, the sex pistols, bad religion, the beatles, the doors, frank sinatra, bobby darin, bush, the cure, the cranberries, muse, bjork, mary prankster, no doubt, veruca salt, billy idol, fiona apple, david bowie, eric clapton, franz ferdinand, mindless self indulgence, our lady peace, tegan and sara, alice in chains, soundgarden, soul coughing, jimmy eat world, r.e.m., the rentals, smashing pumpkins.. there are a whole lot more, i am sure.
eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, american beauty, american history x, blow, mr. holland's opus (and several other inspirational teacher movies, for that matter), the green mile, batman, batman returns, anything by jim henson, sleepless in seattle. chick flicks and mind fucks. biographies and documentaries. things that make me think.
i'm boring. the news, the discovery channel, the history channel, the learning channel, a whole lot of documentaries, any breed of law and order, and as of late, grey's anatomy.
chuck palahniuk is basically my hero. eats, shoots, and leaves by lynn truss. kitchen confidential by anthony bourdain. i love steinbeck. catch 22 by joseph heller. encyclopaedias and the dictionary. to kill a mockingbird, the giver, and of mice and men never fail to make me cry. sex, drugs, and cocoa puffs by chuck klosterman was good. i also like children's books with good meanings.
jim henson, my grandpa, my friends, and of course, my mom.
