Es mejor que te odien por quien eres a que te amen por quien no eres.

About Me

My name is Daniel Bell. Most people know me as Dann though. I'm a decent guy. I live for my friends, those who I love. I am currently living with my best friend, Brandon, his girlfriend and one of my best friends, Morgan, and another good friend of ours, Levi. We have a nice home smack dab in the middle of Coopersville, Michigan.
I graduated from Marcellus High School in 2006. From there, I decided to stay with my parents another 2 years and study at our local community college, Southwestern Michigan College. As of May, 2008, I've had my Associate's Degree in Accounting. I then transferred to Grand Valley State University to further my studies in Accounting and to double major also in Spanish. I love the Spanish language. Later, I may also study another language like Russian or German.
The things I want out of life are simple. I want to become a successful business man. I want to always be there for my friends. And most importantly, whether soon or later, I'd like to meet the woman that soon or later I can call my wife, settle down, and start a family. I'm not out currently looking for her, but if she happens to cross my path, then awesome. Right now my focus is to get through college and get into the work force!

My Interests

Golf, Football, Paintball, Hockey, Poker, Music, Friends, Spanish Language, Guitar Hero, Games, MMORPGs, Guitar, Relaxing, and Movies.

I'd like to meet:

The 49ers, or any Metal band so I can sit down with them and talk music!

Music:

Metal music. My favorite genres of music are melodic death metal, folk metal, progressive metal, and metalcore. And yes, I like nu metal. I pretty much love all metal except death metal and some black metal. I like my music to be heavy and melodic.

My Music (And a Website Hosted by Me!)

As most of you know, my music is metal.  I love everything about it.  Guitars are fast and very talented, the drums keep a nice fast beat.  And as most of you don't like metal music, I ...

The Grand Conjuration by Opeth

Yeah, Yeah, I'm a few days late, but with college and football season both starting, I've been busy!  But this week I bring you none other than the famous Extreme Progressive Metal band out of Sw...

The End of this Chapter by Sonata Arctica

Yet again, El Dann Mann will be slowing it down again with this weeks Song of the Week.  Normally, Sonata Arctica has fast guitars with fast drums.  Not really heavy or head banging music, b...

Eternal Wait by Ensiferum

Yet again comes the superb musical talents by Jari Mäenpää.  If you remember, he is the single artist for the band Wintersun, which I did a review for in my fourth song.  This time, Jari is ...

My Nation by Kalmah

I've decided to test a new type of metal this week.  Kalmah is often disputed as to what genre they belong, but I would describe them as a mix between Power Metal and Melodic Death Metal with Har...

Descent by Fear Factory

Fear Factory, the American Industrial Metal band out of L.A.  Brings back memories to me.  This was the very first metal band I ever listened to.  At this time, I didn't live anything b...

Evidence by Katatonia

This week I bring you none other than the more rock-like metal, Katatonia.  The lyrics are soft and meaning filled.  But this was not always the case.  Early in Katatonia's years, lead ...

Well, I can pretty much say this one is for Nate.  As of late, Nate seems to have fallen in love with All That Remains, and I must say so myself, they are one hell of a band.  This song that...
