About Me

Well as most kids, when they grow up, want to be either a footballer or a rock star, I wanted to be the latter. Looking back now I did not have the ability to be one but it did not stop me dreaming.I played bass mainly but always liked guitar too and built up a small collection over the years. Meanwhile, life took over and like a lot of others, I found myself with a family and I was very happy though the down side was that I sold out and did an office job ( in fact a series of them) that did not fill me with enthusiasm but it needed to be done. Now I am a bit older and I have a bit more freedom as my kids are off hand, I try to enjoy my life as much as I can. I am still passionate about music and buy CD's regularly. I love the music I grew up with particularly The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Faces, Small Faces, Squeeze, Jam, Elvis Costello, Jimi Hendrix oh the list goes on. I have played in bands since I was about 16 and I still do. At home I love reading and if I am not playing or listening to music, I tend to be reading. I enjoy travelling and good films, good restaurants and beautiful countryside. Current affairs depress me but I try to keep a sense of humour though I am very concerned about the totalitarianism that seems to be getting a grip whilst the reality of voting becomes a pointless waste of time.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

John Lennon, George Harrison, Jimi Hendrix, Keith Moon, Billie Holiday and my grandfathers-obviously not in this world on account of them all being dead.
