Born in Los Angelos, Raised in the D.C. Metropolitan Area (ALEXANDRIA, VA). Karim Motaweh came from humble beginnings. Son of Egyptian born parents, he has been introduced to variety of different music from early beginnings. The one music that has caught his attention from early on is his love for Hip-Hop. He started rapping when he was twelve when one of the local MC's from the neighborhood pressured him to spit a freestyle. At just twelve year's old he amazed the MC and his cru and has never stopped rapping since. Shuffling and moving all over the metro urea, Karim has lived everywhere from largo maryland to fairfax, virginia. However his mother never moved from the urea's historic city of Alexandria. Experiencing city and suburban life gave Ka-Ryme a broader view of life and he tries to implement that in his music. However no matter where he goes he always make sure to mention that Duke Street ALX or Alexandria is his home.To describe Ka-Ryme's style is...well...impossible. He has no style. He strives to be as versatile as possible and to not be labeled or pigeonholed into any category. "An Mc's Mc" as he has been described by others, Ka-Ryme started spreading his name out as a host of a local freestyle show called the Zodiac House in the heart of Fairfax Va. Always quick to spark a freestyle and showcase his talent, he has never been one to shy away from the spotlight. With his upcoming Mixtape "HOLLA AT ME: DA MIXTAPE", he has set out to show the world that there is talent in the D.C. Area and that Duke Street has somethin to say to the world!!!!
