I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I married my 1st husband in 1973 and had 3 children. He sadly passed away in 1990. I have 7 grandchildren. I married my soulmate, Ed, on Valentine's Day, 1998, in Las Vegas. He was diagnosed with unoperable cancer, and is currently in remission. We celebrate our 9th anniversary this year, and I cherish every day I have left with this special person.I was born on April 18, 1950.I am an Aries.I attended Lutheran High West & Cooley High Schools,in Detroit. I graduated in 1968. Ive worked in a wide array of fields, from being a secretary at an insurance company, to a pharmacy technician to a bartender.I am an only child. I can adapt to almost any situation.I am very accepting.I have friends that are old, young, straight, gay, white, black, christian, jewish. I love casinos & enjoy the slots. I am an avid Bingo player. My favorite drink is Captain Morgan . I'm a HUGE RED WING fan. And I love football games. I love to garden and read. I am crafty and like to decorate.I enjoy backyard BBQ's. I treasure the company of good friends. I love to laugh and act silly. The kid in me I guess. Most of the time I am laid back and easy going. I am a loyal friend, sincere, compasionate and caring. Im a good listener. I'm a bit shy at first. Tend to look at things through rose colored glasses. I generally look for the good in everyone. I am sensitive and emotional. Empathy is my strength and guilt is my weakness. Throughout my life I have known those who were homeless and those who were rich. Just a down to earth honest person.Im pretty straightforward. Im not into head games. I'm a homebody at heart. But I do enjoy traveling.I have a love for the Lord and Im grateful for each day I wake up and for my good health that God has blessed me with. I have a passion for animals, and am vehemently opposed to animal cruelty. I have a dog and cat of my own who are like my children. I feed the birds and the squirrels. I adore all God's little creatures. One of the best parts of spending my life in Michigan, is our 4 seasons. Spring, Summer ,Winter and Fall, I love them all.I like boating and being on the water when it's warm, and curling up on the couch under a soft comfy blanket when it's cold. I enjoys Cider Mills, hayrides and bonfires.I love the smell of burning leaves. When I was young, we had so much fun, raking them in a pile and falling into them, and then raking them up again. And watching them burn. Can't do that anymore. I love carnivals and art fairs. And Im proud to have the privledge to be an American. I grew up during the Vietnam era. I have respect and admiration to all who fought for our country. And the men and women who protect our country today so that I may live free. And to those who lost thier lives. Many of them being old friends of mine. My site may be a bit flashly, but I have a zest for life and a knack for creativity and I love to express myself in that manner.
