Music is a mirror of the soul. I grew up in the 50s , 60s, and 70's so I love all kinds of OLDIES. And alot of Motown. The 4 Tops, The Temptations, The Platters, The Miracles. Rod Stewart, Cher, Celine Dion, The Eagles, Barry Manilow ,The Beach Boys, Chicago are some of my favorites. I like Phil Collins, velvety Johnny Mathis and Old Blue Eyes Frank Sinatra. I love Country as well. Alan Jackson, Colin Raye, John Michael Montgomery & Tim McGraw rock my boat. As I get older I find myself gravitating toward more Easy Listening. Even my parents era.
A good laugh! Or a real tear jerker.Trains, Planes & Automobiles is a memorable one. Anger Management and Liar Liar. The old Airport sagas. The minisieries, Taken, is a favorite. And I enjoy Ghost,Dirty Dancing, Casino, Oceans 11, Goodfellas.I enjoy musicals. I know them all by heart now. My Fair Lady or The Soind Of Music or The Music Man. Holiday classics like Miracle on 34th Street or White Christmas. The 10 Commandments.
I am a real television NUT. They should make more days in the week to hold all the stuff.Or else I need more VCR's to accomodate conflicting programming. My old favorites are The Twilight Zone, I Love Lucy. The only soap I watch faithfully is General Hospital. My regulars are, Nip/Tuck, Gilmore Girls, ER, The Medium, Las Vegas, Desperate Housewives, 7th Heaven, House, Heroes, Greys Anatomy, Monk....PHEW! And South Park, just love those kids. Never tire of the Little Rascals. And the new ones, Dancing With The Stars! American Idol!.Deal or No Deal too. Oh yeah! And Spongebob Squarepants,who I watch with my little granddaughter every day. Sylvester and Garfield. I miss all the old ones like Dallas, Dynasty, Knots Landing, Melrose Place, Friends.HGTV as well. Im always looking for something crafty to make.And what if I am hungry? Emeril is waiting! And QVC! Gotta catch my Quacker Factory.
I enjoy Danielle Steele. I have read the complete VC Andrews Series. Dean Koontz and John Grisham are also my favorites.
My father,Lt Col. Jay Marts. He was a WWII highly decorated Ace Air Force pilot, who served our country. And proudly wore the Silver Star. He is buried at Arlington Cemetary, in Washington D.C.
