About Me

i am fairlight, like sam is sam, i am fairlight. i am twenty years old, and have experienced a lot in my short life span. i travel to latin countries and latin countries only. i may be one of the most unhibited people you will ever meet, and i would like to keep it that way. i genuinely don't care much for people's thoughts of me. i don't feel the need to impress people in other words. i am me, and i am perfectly comfortable with that, i don't plan on changing for anyone or anything unless god so desires it of me. he can mold me, and it's a continual process that i am ok with though it's not always fun. i am not one needs or clings, and i don't handle people well that do so. it goes against what i believe, literally. space is a precious commodity, as is sleep, i really like sleep. give me space and let me sleep, and i will like you, haha. basically. life has thrown me some curveballs, i have my parents, my brothers, their wives who have become my sisters, and some of the best friends i could ever hope for. they are incredible, and i love them a lot. never again will i take any one of their friendships for advantage, it's wrong. that's about it.UMMMM, DON'T CLICK ON THIS...

My Interests

generally i work. i live in portland, and am making a life for myself here. generally, my recreation consists of running my dog on the waterfront or taking epic walks with her, tango dancing, browsing but not buying clothes, and meeting up with friends or family for a nice dinner or something. i also generally travel a lot. south america, and more specifically argentina, draws me like a moth to the flame.... or something like that. i genuinely love god, he blesses me so much, i don't deserve it, it's a good thing we don't get what he deserve ( that's a newsboys song) ..

Movies:

BRICK and MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING and BIG WHITE and DANNY DECKCHAIR and EVITA and FIGHT CLUB and SNATCH and LOVE ME IF YOU DARE and WHALE RIDER and ROYAL TENENBAUMS and I HEART HUCKABEES and CITY OF GOD and LA VITA ET BELLA and GARDEN STATE and WHAT ABOUT BOB, and i could watch the five hour version of pride and prejudice all day every day. i love it!

Television:

when i watch tv - which is never - i enjoy "the office" [you are in idiot if you don't], arrested development 9 [once again, idiot if you you don't], and project runway [i won't call you an idiot if you don't enjoy it... just naive] - oh and i watch 24. that's it. everything else isn't worth my time or yours...

Books:

I LOVE BOOKS, voice in the wind by francine rivers, anything by francine river, christy by catherine marshall, WILD AT HEART by jon eldridge, ANYTHING by frank peretti, ANYTHING by stephen lawhead.

Heroes:
