About Me

Hi. My name is Ryan. I call Portland, OR home. Mainly because no other place feels like home. Right now I live in Los Angeles, California. To be more specific, Los Feliz. I love East LA. It's now what you would ever expect from a place that's very close to Hollywood. As the days go by, it's becoming more and more comfortable. I think I'll stay awhile. I work for an incredible company called Intelligentsia and we recently opened what is becoming one of the best cafes in the world. Making coffee is my career. Not just a job. I enjoy every minute of it, from the beans to the people. When I'm not working, I am typically blogging at GhostCoffee.Net. To even me out and keep me sane, I believe in the idea of balance. That without it life is chaos. I believe in clarity of mind, something that if I don't have, my head is spinning. I believe in God, and I believe that God cares. I also believe in love and that without it life could not exist. Friends and family are the most important aspect of life and we must take care of our own. Beyond that, there's not much else to say. Life is good, I don't have to be at work for another couple hours, and it's 85 and sunny...
