Born in Paris as the product of an Irish mother and Ivorian father, Tamzy a.k.a. Lyrical Angel knows all about the concept of being Multi-cultural. At the young age of 5 she moved to the Spanish town of Alicante, but after only a year of living there, here mother became unsettled and moved to Abidjan in The Ivory Coast. After settling down in The Ivory Coast for a mere 4 years, Tamzy moved with her Family to Dublin, Irelands Capital City and for the next few years, constantly moved back and forth between Dublin City, The Ivorian town of Abidjan and Paris. Having the opportunity to experience so many cultures and countries, Tamzy was quickly introduced to the Urban Art of Hip-Hop. ''In every country I lived in there were so many different languages and cultural differences..but Hip-Hop seemed to be Universal..It was like a common language that everybody understood!'' says Tamzy when questioned about her Background, ''..so it was something I wanted to become a part of from a young age''. After writing her first Rap at the young age of 8, Tamzy quickly developed her writing and lyrical skills. ''I didnt take Rapping seriously until I was about 12 years old..Then i started doing local gigs in Dublin City, in places like Eamonn Doran's, Temple Bar and Belvedere Hall and realised it was something I was good at.'' Lyrical Angel is certainly determined to make a name for herself in Hip-Hop, and with her versatility, Skill and support from her Group, she is definitely set to do that! 'PA'
