Monday, April 21st, 2008: Hey whats up Ladies & Gents!? We are currently writing new material for our full length set to be recorded in the Fall. Resurgence will be the title for the album and will be produced by Lech (ex-As Blood Runs Black) and is sure to be our most heaviest, brutal, and progressive material to date. We are now geared up with a van so that means we will be playing cities near you VERY soon. We will keep you guys posted as soon as more develops!! So start getting stoked!!!Sunday, February 3rd, 2008: Last Friday at the Darfur Battle of the Bands during the first 30 seconds of our 2nd song, our guitarist Shawn Finley took a pretty gnarly spill, and ended up breaking his knee. When Shawn went down, he kept playing like a real team player. So I [Dan] just kinda laughed a little and went over to help him up. When he couldn't get up. I stopped laughing, and stopped playing all together...we all stopped playing when we realized the severity of it. Shawn yelled something to me about his knee being gone. I felt his leg where his knee-cap SHOULD have been...but it wasn't there. I moved my hand around the left side of his right leg, and found his knee-cap almost on the back of his leg. It was gnarly, and I screamed like a bitch hahaha. The ambulance came and the paramedics took Shawn out on and stretcher. It was a pretty dramatic scene. That was the last we spoke to him until late that night. He's doing fine now...he's just posted up at home icing his knee, in crutches, and taking some pretty heavy duty painkillers. We're praying that he heals in time to record in a few weeks, so just keep him in your thoughts, and hopefully he'll be able to record with us.Other than that, we're just preparing to record! Whatever though...at least we placed =]Thursday, December 13th 2007: Whats cracking whoever reads these news boxes..... Fallen Figure will be entering the studio in the next few weeks to record one more pre-production song for your listening pleasure. We are saving the BIG BANG for when we record our "Debut Album" with Master Zack at Castle Ultimate. The new material is coming out intense and brutal as fuh!! definitely a big mature step from previous Fallen Figure tracks. Might as well call a fuckin Doctor because everything from album art to cd production is going to SIIICCKK!! We have a few pending local shows that will be surfacing in the future. WEST COAST BABY<33 -LecheSunday, October 28th 2007: Hey guys, just thought we'd let you know that we will be recording a new song next weekend just to show you guys what we've been working so hard on for the last couple of months. It's going to be one of our faster, more progressive songs, and it is entitled 'Resurgence'.This is just going to be one of 4 new songs we have written so far. We're still writing for our full length, but it is coming along really nicely...and we're all really stoked on the new material. It sounds heavier, faster, and more technical then our older stuff, and we feel it was a step in the right direction for us. We hope you all enjoy it.Saturday, October 6th 2007: Hey boys and girls! The outcome was out of our hands.And on top of that, Nathan has officially parted ways with the band. We're looking for a well rounded guitar player who is dedicated, an amazing writer, a good performer, and an all around good dude. You will be missed Nathan. GOOD LUCK IN COLLEGE!!!For the next few months, we will be re-inventing ourselves, writing our upcoming EP, and gearing up for tour. We can't wait for you guys to hear the new material.
