Vague Perception

Vague Perception started in the mid-eighties as a high school band named Dionysus with Luiz,Deluca,Kelly,Rossi and Robert Kent and played a kickass show at the living room opening for one of the last shows for the Minutemen featuring Mike Watt . This was their first gig as Vague Perception. The songs were very controversial being that of misconceptions by the press considering the uncompromising content of the lyrics."H.R". of Bad brains told Luiz he was one of the most inspirational writers but your cries fall on ignorant ears.Opening gigs for heavy local hitters like Gang green and Neutral nation was the best of the eighties for Vague Perception but after years of drinking and playing many odd various gigs for baked hippies and metalhead screaming maniacs the members went off in different directions. Years later while a confused and socially withdrawn Luiz recording as many as nine or more albums with early years drummer Bill Stailing in his basement was noticed by an English lad named Simon Mitchell and rejoining with Roger Kelly began performing live as Vague Perception again . Unfortunately due to an injury to Stailing Vague Perception has somewhat slowed down again.
