BLINK 182: My personal favorite band of all time, ive loved them since 5th grade and when they broke up i was so sad, i never even got to see them live. I listen to them almost daily and ive seen AVA and +44 live more than once. Travis is basically my idol because im a drummer myself. I know every word to every song on there newest 3 albums (before that they weren't too good)BLOOD BROTHERS: Possibly my favorite screamo band ever. I've seen them live and i would absolutely LOVE to see them again, they were amazing and the pits were sick. There contrasting sounds of falsetto and baritone makes for an insanely good sound, if you've never heard them you should definatley check them out!GREEN DAY: Contrary to popular belief, they are very smart and good musicians. although most people say there old music was 'better' it was just a slightly differnet style of pop-punk. Although a few songs on "American Idiot" where horrible (ex: Boulevard of Broken Deams, Wake me up when September ends) a lot of the other songs like St.Jimmy, Give me Novocain, and Whatshername are almost the same to there old songs on Dookie, Warning, and Nimrod. They changed there style a little to attract more fans, which any band would and should do, they didn't sell out they just saw that a newer style would be good to venture into. Some people think there bad because most of the bad songs were released onto the radio for some odd reason, but if you listen to the whole CD you'll see that they ARE good!THE BEATLES: My favorite 'old' band ever. They are absolutely amazing, especially in songwrighting. Some people don't like them because they were tripping on LSD when they wrought some of there best music, but come on, what band doesn't do drugs. If they hadn't broken up 32 years before i was born, i would definatley see them. I'm also looking to go to "Ringo Starr and the AllStarrs' concert, its just ringo + a bunch of other rock stars but they play a lot of Beatles music.
