Nordavind was founded in October 2004 by Bjørn, Daniel, Geir and Øystein.
Autumn 2005 Daniel left the band.
Our first demo "Ukjend Land" was recorded in Rune Nesses studio during January and February 2006, with Rune and Nina as session members.
Nordavind has been a studioband until 2007. We recruited three new members in 2007, HÃ¥vard, Irene and Bjarne.
Bjørn is leaving
19.10.07 will be Bjørn's last day in Nordavind.
He is one of the founders of Nordavind and has been our bass player and the composer of our brutal tracks "Splinters of my mind" and "Broderens dolk".
He retire due to personal reasons and Nordavind will honor him as we play together in Haugesund 19.10.07.
It will be one hell of a night.
Bjørn will always have our friendship. We wish him all the best.
For now, we'll NOT be looking for a permanent replacement. We'll try other options.
New Portraits
29.09.07 we had a photosession at Sunnhordland Museum. Our photographer that day was Thomas Andre Hjelmen.

We planned an upcoming demo summer 2007, but there has been some delay. We'll update when we know when we're going to studio.
