Hola! I be Noccy - a nickname born of insomnia, all-nighters and a general "thing" for the nocturnal. I am very real. Not a clone, a robot, a cyber-freak pervert guy or an automated script. I talk back. Most of what you'd need to know about me is written in the various sections of this profile. What I CAN tell you is...
...I am a very passionate poet and writer. I'm a major horror film buff, with a vast collection of DVD's that are threatening to topple over in Japan as we speak! I also enjoy the "metal" music muchly, having been a fan for nearly 15 years now. I have a WIDE and diverse taste in guitar music, so don't be afraid if you see Emperor and Incubus on the same playlist. It's all love, baby!
I am also a big football fan, and have supported Tottenham Hotspur all my life. I read a lot, write a lot and generally do "stuff" a lot. I love conversations with people, and will only add you to my list if I find your profile or your personality interesting. I never add you just because I want another friend on the list, and you shouldn't add me for that reason either!
You're most welcome to add me but do me a favour - talk to me! Leave a comment, send a message...emote! Feel something. Love is the law.

My Interests

I listen to a lot of music. I mean, a LOT. Besides that, I watch piles and piles of movies, play Xbox 360 constantly and (rarely) watch a bit of TV. I read as much as possible, go out for little drinkies with the friendies and, basically, exist. Oh and I write poems, if you hadn't noticed...

I'd like to meet:

Anybody with a spark of intelligence; maybe even a little wit, too. I can't converse with people who type in text talk, nor can I honestly communicate with chavs, trendy people and pretentious types. I do enjoy chatting with artistic and creative people, or even just friendly folks with a bit of banter to them. I'm nice, ya know!

Books:

I tend to read a lot of Terry Pratchett's stuff, mainly Discworld. My favourite book is The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. I'm also partial to books on murder, and serial killer biographies too. And no, I'm not applying to be one!

Heroes:

The people I find really inspiring are those who make a difference with the smallest things. My heroes range from literary figures, to more contemporary ones. I won't name them because I think they speak for themselves.

The Bullet Says I'm Right (Poem)

Is life really worth a bullet? He thinks so. One day, I hope he pays. I'll burn his coins any day. This is messy, because what we're dealing with here is as ugly as anything you'd care to mention. Thi...

The Purity of Love Incomplete (Poem)

Love is, sometimes, pure. Other times, it is a vicious mess. It is tangled; difficult, uncontrollable and messy. Sometimes I hate myself for letting it go. Other times, I wish I had enough in me to fi...

Bleak Gothic Romance (Poem)

Ahh, yes. This is probably the darkest 'erotic' poem I have written yet. I also think that this will be the last poem written in this style for quite some time. I wanted a good 'trilogy' of poems to u...

Vampire Heart (Parts I - III) (Poem)
