im an acquired alcoholic for the melancholic so we've got Radiohead, Manics, Muse, Smashing Pumpkins, Hope of the States. Then the more cheerier stuff Foo Fighters, REM, Green Day, Jamiroquai, Oasis, Stereophonics, The Verve, Crowded House, The Beatles. Solo Artists range from the quirky Rufus Wainwright, Ben Folds and Eels to the torchured souls of Ryan Adams, Jeff Buckley, Damien Rice, David Ford, and the like. I guess you get the idea.
Movies:
Really into quirky films like Truman Show, Eternal Sunshine of a Spottless Mind, Being John Malkovich, Dogma. Then fairy-tale gothic Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare before christmas, labyrinth. Also stuff like Catch Me If You Can, Talented Mr Ripley. and finally a soft spot for Forest Gump.
Television:
dont watch too much. loving 'lost' like everybody else. not much else at the mo.
