About Me

DJ * Producer * Artist * Musician Need more than that? Ok, I have been spinning since 1987 and I plan to spin till 2017. I have played my Trumpet since 1983 and never plan to stop. I love House and I DJ for a living - TRANSLATION - I spin what is required to put food on the table for my family. I now use several computer programs to produce including Pro Tools and I plan to release my first track Spring 2008. I answer almost ever person that contacts me even though I have over 2500 friends. I have started a group along with my good friend dj Dick called "The Detroit Music Scene" which I hope someday will lead Detroit to be the leader in music it once was. I believe I have 50 plus good friends in the dj community and I know over 200!!! It's tough to get me to criticize another dj, unless that dj asks me my opinion of their skills, then I'll be honest, good or bad. I respect the craft and if you don't, I will not hold your opinion in high regard. I have done every kind of work possible with 2 turntables and a microphone: Bars, Nightclubs, Strip Clubs, Weddings, Corporate Events, Country Clubs, Roller Rinks, I'm more selective about the work I do today, but I'm proud of my diversity.-dj iMix
