Welcome to the Guilford County Tobacco Reality Unfiltered Youth Advisory Board's Myspace.
WHO WE ARE:
We are a group of teens from high schools all around Guilford County wanting to educate the community on the effects of smoking on your body and those around you.
WHAT WE DO:
In November of 2006, we went to the Greensboro Parks & Recreation board and presented close to 3,000 cigarette butts we found at city playgrounds and athletic fields. That night, they passed a policy forbiding the use of ANY tobacco product on city playgrounds and athletic fields.
We attend events in the community to promote who we are and what we do.
