Narhed is a drummer, percussionist, singer/ songwriter, and music producer.
Based in Brooklyn, Relief Records NYC is Narhed’s playground for composing and recording in a small studio out of which many NICE things have come of all flavors from hip hop to rock to world to electronica, etc.Narhed is a graduate of the Drummer’s Collective in New York for drum set and longtime student of many traditional percussion styles ranging from Haitian Voudun to Rhumba to West African to Cuban Santeria.
Combined with the wordplay of poetic introspection and simple melodies and grooves, Narhed brings a message in the bottle made up by the desire to cross lines in these all originally composed tracks. Narhed writes every element from horn and bass lines to drum beats.
