About Me

I am or my clans are Todichiinii (Bitter Water) born for the winter people of Ohkay Owingeh (San Juan Pueblo). I live in Flagstaff with my wife ,three boys and baby girl. I am an archaeologist for the Navajo Nation Archaeology Department where I specialize in the graphic and cartographic, including GIS, aspects of our larger projects. In my Spare time, which is rare with four kids, I make various styles of traditional pottery. Everything from Navao pitched style, Hopi-Tewa style to the Ancient Kayenta Black-on-white and Jeddito Yellowware styles. I used to Pow wow but haven't danced lately. I need a new bigger belt and I probably forgot most of the 49 songs. I am the founder of the Leupp Kiln Conference which is a gathering of archeaoligists and ceramic analysts and potters in the southwest to fire in the ancient Black-on-white styles of the Kayenta Anasazi which occurrs yearly. Music:

I like anything with soul and a beat, and most anything with a tropical feel especially Jamaican music. I have a weakness for the soulful female voice. Sometimes though, you just need some distortion.
