She likes it that there will always be that element of spontaneity at her happenings. She likes to prepare, to dress up in her finest customised threads and sculpt herself into a world of fantasy. She likes a place full of like minded individuals where image and consequence go hand in hand irrelevantly rather than fighting toe to toe in clone bars on high streets. She likes to think forward musically not retrospectively.
She likes the sound of the smoke, of Larrikin, Penate and T. She likes the romanticism of The Maccabees, Good Shoes and Long Blondes. She likes the chop shop doo wop of Peggy Sue and the surf n turf crunk-punk of The Great Danger. She likes remixes and rarities, she likes Diplo, Digitalism and Justice. She likes the pomp of the Arcade Fire and she likes to Clap Her Hands and Say Yeah Yeah Yeah to to the dancefloor as it Ed Bangs and of course she likes Lyd Airport, Bagleys and Labyrinth.
