About Me

I make bad decisions and turn them into something positive. I believe in being kind over being nice. I'm sentimental instead of showing emotion. I only shout at the people I love. I give advice where it's not needed. Other people's happiness is more important than my own...most of the time. I believe in making choices and acting on them. I'm afraid of weakness. I make my own moral code. I don't know what I'd do without music. After happiness, my favourite emotion is loneliness. I'm logical and pragmatic, but I'll always be a dreamer. I'm very complicated and very, very simple. I think my friends and family would be surprised at how much I'd do for them. I believe you make your own luck. I over-rely on humour. I prefer summer to winter, and night to day. I believe everyone has something to offer the world. I have a childish need to shock and amuse. Do not diss Lil Chris

Four months of Whitesnake is enough for anyone. And so on to my new passion. Lil' Chris. I mean it. If you can honestly listen to this track and not think it's even a little bit genius, then you are a...

Hair Metal

I have a deep, very very sad love of hair metal. I can't deny it. It just fascinates me. Whitesnake's self-titled album is a classic of the genre. Lap it up.

Indigo Colony

Time for a new profile song, methinks. And what better song than one of my favourite singles from 2006. Indigo Colony: they're very young and they're also very good.

The Futureheads

I fancied a change, so here is my new profile song, an acoustic version of 'Skip to the End'. I think The Futureheads are one of the very best British bands of the last decade. So there.
