Well before i get started on my way up and back, i stopped in Charlottesville and it was nice to be where the band was from and drive by Millers where Dave worked long ago.. Anyway the VA Beach show was alright, the crowded kinda wasnt getting into the concert for some reason..anyway. I took my bro Mark and my cousin Jimmy and it was their first show. Well they were playing Seek Up and it was toward the end where Dave starts going nuts, and i didnt want to miss it for nothing, but then it hit me and i had to pee, and i couldnt hold it.. So i found an Aquafina bottle and told my bro and cousin to get infront of me i was going to pee in the bottle and well, the bottles head was to small and the Cash and Prizes was a little bigger and i missed and peed on my bros and cousins leg, and it was freakin hilarious. They moved though so i had to cut it off and go find another cup to pee in, i dunno it was funny..well everyone take it easy peace and Love Yall...BryanTD Banknorth Garden, Boston, MA.......12-15-05Since I read you were looking for some DMB concert stories, I thought I'd share. In Boston this winter, I won the Bama Auction for front row seats, it was insanity being about 8 feet from Dave. I was directly in front of Carter though and that was the best part of my night! I had made a sign that said, "I *heart* Carter's sticks" and whenever he went crazy on the drums, I'd hold it up. He was griining ear to ear, it was so fun! I also brought a large pic of my DMBFAN license plate and it seemed to catch Butch's eye. At the end of the show, I was looking for Carter(who had gone behind the stage). Next thing I know, he's walking toward me pointing at me with the sticks in his hand. I motioned to myself like, "me?", and he nodded. I'm a tiny girl so I outstretched on my tiptoes to reach forward as he did and he tossed me a stick! Just at that moment, somebody dove out of nowhere and landed his elbow on my nose(swiping my stick!). I thought my nose was gushing blood and broken! I wrapped my hands around my nose thinking, "I can't be bleeding everywhere in front of Carter Beauford!" and yelled, "he just broke my nose!" Carter told the kid to give the stick to me, because it was mine, and the kid took off! I looked at Carter(hands still wrapped around my throbbing nose) and said, "he just stole my stick!" Carter was shaking his head at the kid, smiled and gave me another one(this time security making sure our reaches met)! I thanked him so much. He flashed that million dollar smile at me and just said, "you're welcome". It was crazy. I saw my VERY FIRST DMB concert in Chi-town, September 15th! I live in Morton Illinois, so it took me about 3 hours to get up there! and woh!! it was SOO worth the drive! The Songs are Everyday, and Sister.. just bits of them.Well thats pretty much it!~TannerVerizon Wireless Ampitheater..August 18th, 2007My husband and I attended our very first Dave Matthews Band concert this last saturday Aug 18th-At verizon Wireless in Noblesville IN. It was the most amazing thing! We had an awesome time-an one heck of a contact buzz-I must say-lmao! The only thing that really disappointed me was that I have no pics to remind me of our experience there-NO cameras allowed-but then peeps started pulling them out of their bras an I was like -oh okay-I was too chicken to bring mine in with me-now all I have to remember this awesome concert is the hangover I've got laying in bed at the hotel-some fuzzy camera phone pics from way up on the lawn-which you can imagine how bad they are-lol!
