About Me
I think it's hard to get a good idea of someone through a little section like this, but I'll give it a try. I'm pretty quiet until I get to know you and shy in groups that I'm not comfortable in yet. I'm sure it's mistaken for me being a bitch or giving dirty looks, but chances are it's not intentional or directed towards anyone. I'm a beach person and I need my usual Swamis fix to keep me happy, along with time spent with Ellen and Katelyn. We've been best friends for ten years now, and I know we have countless memories to come. Some more of my favorite memories are spending weekends at the beach with my dad and him teaching me how to surf. A lot of people don't know it, but my mom is my hero. My sister Kayla will always be my best friend. I enjoy my job...a big reason for that is because of all the fun people I work with. I've made some of my best friends there (Melissa and Gabe stand at the top; my other buddies know who they are too :D). It takes a lot to offend me or weird me out. I love the smell of dirt (the damp, earthy kind) and laundry products. I'm not really a religious person, but I'm not gonna knock what you believe in and I definitely believe in a higher power. I also believe in the "spirit world" and the power of the mind and thank Melissa for enlightening me on those subjects. I highly dislike messes, things being unorganized, female hostility caused by males, incorrect grammar/spelling...those are some things that stand out. I'm extremely loyal and patient. If I ever cared about you I always will, even if you screwed me over at some point along the way. It's not always the best quality to have; it's just how I am. I'm usually open to a lot of ideas and information that most people would find pretty off the wall. I want to be a middle school english teacher. I'll always have my little obsessions with Justin Timberlake and Nsync. I'm terrible with money, but I'm getting a little better with it and have finally accomplished the little goal of buying a car. I love taking pictures because they're memories you can always look back at. I save random things in my "memory box", as I like to call it. I've both fallen in love and been hurt, but it's all worth it. I don't wanna hear how "smashed" or "faded" you're gonna get; it just gets under my skin. I drink occasionally, but I know my limits. I'm very observant. Most of the time I like to just sit back in a crowd and analyze people. I appreciate and respect people who ask me directly if they want to know something about me. One of my biggest fears is being alone at some point in my life. I need to be more independent. Like most of us, I've made some mistakes in the past but I feel that I've learned a lot lately. I eat like a fatty and get made fun of for it all the time :) I've come to realize that making judgements is only human; the line is crossed when you don't let go of those judgements to give someone/something a chance. I'm extremely appreciative of what I have in my life...I've seen the other side of things and know how good I have it. I don't believe in good or bad luck, I believe that you control what happens to you with your thoughts. Basically, postive thought will improve any situation.
