About Me
Well hello, I'm a Montrealer, from Quebec. At the moment I live in Gainesville, FL where there are wild alligators. Alligators can go for up to two years without food. But when they're hungry they can move at about 20 km/ h to grab their prey, which they drag into the water and drown. They have to re-surface to eat it because they run out of energy real fast, being cold-blooded and all, and so if they stayed underwater too long they would drown themselves and then the joke would be on them. But they probably wouldn't get the joke because their brains are about the size of a cashew. I like to eat pan-Asian food at this restaurant called Chopstix and there is a patio in the back overlooking a lake. And guess what lives in that lake? You guessed it.... alligators! But these are American Alligators. The alligators you would see in pan-Asia include the Siamese Crocodile (part of the Crocodilia family - related to alligators), Chinese Alligator and Indian Gharial. Therefore Chopstix is not really an authentic pan-Asian restaurant because of they do not have these species in the lake, but that's okay because I saw some baby alligators sunning themselves and they were so chubby and small and not so I-will-maul-you-to-death like the adults. I also saw an osprey attack a bald eagle above the lake, which I took to be an omen of good times to come. My favorite football team is "Les Alouettes."
