About Me

My name is Jeanne. I am a 48 year old widow, with an 20 year old daughter. I love my daughter, Elizabeth. Of course I also love my cocker spaniel named Sandy. I am incredibly proud of the job I've done with my daughter, and being a mother has been one of the most important things in my life. The fact is my daughter has done all the work and I am just delighted with her. I'm an old hippie at heart, and tend to have the eternal child syndrome. You could call me a female Peter Pan. I have always believed that you can learn more through experience and searching for knowledge. So this is what I have done. I have a self schooled intelligence, and being informed is very important to me. I am also a work in progress, not finished yet, probably won't be until the day I die. I have already found a soul mate, but sadly he died 12 years ago. I love to travel, and wish I could do more of it. I would love to see more of the world. You could call me a bit of an adventurer. I have a great deal of interest in politics, but its hard to watch without making me crazy and sad. I tend to be liberal in most of my beliefs, but as I said I'm an old hippie, so what would you expect? I also love whale watching especially Humpbacks. I've seen thousands and other species of whales too. I am a proud member of Hillsgrove House. I love the ocean and will always live close to the coast and I love Cape Cod! and let's not forget Van Morrison is my favorite artist.
Seek ye counsel of the aged, for their eyes have looked on the faces of the years and their ears have hearkened to the voices of Life. Even of their counsel is displeasing to you , pay heed to them. ~ Kahil Gilbran
