Hi there, my name is Rosen Dukov, but some know me as Pikasso, which comes with the fact I can draw better than writing lyrics or doing something else :) If it was on me I can say painting and design are my real vocations.
As far as music is concerned - that's another way to express myself. Most of the people are surprised by the fact I don't swear or curse in my tracks (hip hop). Well... that's my point of view. If one can achieve his goals without doing compromises, why should do it the other way, right?
In brief: I start writing lyrics at the beginning of 2000. After 7 years my debut album is a fact. It's called "Reflexi" (Reflexes) and is the first Bulgarian hip-hop album without dirty words. There are tracks produced by some of the most famous producers in my country - Vasil Ivanov (EDIT), Sniper Recs Producers as well as international ones by DJ Mezuian (Austria). The creative works as far feature collabs with EDIT, Daniel Kajmakoski, Mariana Popova, Kali, Bobo, Mite & Fed, Liceto, Stereotipove, Vasko Teslata, Alex P., Shugga, ShoSho, Sarafa, Leon and many many more...
The collaboration with electronic formation EDIT was nominated for best electronic/dance song at the Annual Music Awards of MM TV a few years ago. The video was one of the most expensive productions in Bulgaria in 3D/CGI.
My first solo exhibition became real at 2003 with landscapes inspired by my Erasmus period in Braganca, Portugal.
In my CV you can find also diploma for Master's Degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications, "1,000,000 Erasmus student award" and Erasmus ambassador for Bulgaria, Bachelor's diploma for teacher in Fine Arts, High School of Fine Arts, experience in CGI/Special FX movie industry and other versatile securities! :D
The plans for 2008 feature another exhibition with oil paintings, a book with lyrics and short poems and music collaborations.
