We formed in the summer 2004 which was nice. Fred came round for a jam and it all came from there really.i said "lets get sam to play bass" but fred said "no" so i said "ok" but we got him anyway and he wasn't shit so that was cool. and then somehow simon joined but thats another story... so we started off learning some covers i think - i seem to remember 'myfriends' by RHCP was one of 'em. and the first song was.... 'jazzjam' i think, but that was exactly what it was - a jazz jam! the next creation i think was either 'bumface' (a classic if i may say so) or 'badgerinabassdrum' but we dont even remember what that was - it possibly became what is now called 'theballadoftheclagnut'. anyway. we wrote a few songs about noodles and poo and coffee and perverts - some of which you may have heard amongst the debris - but the first good ones really were 'stirandenjoy' and 'quaffee' and theballadoftheclagnut' which we sometimes play. and so we quite often play gigs around and about - but its a bit shit now because fred's gone to norfuck where there are no hills. we once played a gig for a load of stoned hippies in a barn on top of some hill near presteigne which was pretty weird but they seemed to enjoy it so that was ok. oh yeah and we quite recently recorded a demo which you can get your hands on if you like and thats about it. we quite like using slides on our guitars and we usually just sit around getting stoned but when we can be bothered we get a gig and have quite a good time usually with fightthebear or funkthesystem or cynicalpinnacle who are all really really good by the way. so thats about it really.Stir and Enjoydoubleyou doubleyou doubleyou dot mind pirate band dot tee kay
