SPOTLIGHT ?
A chance to take your music a step outside your home, an opportunity to check with other people how you’re doing, what others are doing and who can help.
The open mic sessions held at the Church Barn in Bishop’s Castle, are free entry, easy and fun. We provide a space and the equipment for people to come and meet in a friendly atmosphere, where everyone counts. It’s an opportunity for anyone to try out some creative idea, play music, interact with new people and experience some exciting new sounds! To become a member costs £5 and this lets you in at a reduced rate to the Three Tuns gig nights

THE PLACE TO BE!
For all those Spotlighters out there who want to renew their Membership, you can do it Now. How? Come down to a Open Mic or Workshop at the Church Barns, Bishops Castle and you will be able to get it done there.
Renew Membership will cost £5 and will get you into any Spotlight gig Night cheeper.
Don't bother trying to renew it at a Spotlight at the Tuns, you won't a able to!
Gig nights at the Three Tuns in Bishop’s Castle are run by Spotlight members who get paid for their work on the evening(takings allowing). It is an opportunity for more confident artists, emerging from the Open Mic sessions, to play as support bands, to a paying audience.
It also offers the opportunity for people, who have previously given many hours voluntarily, to be paid for their input at the gig nights.
These are professional gigs, managed by Spotlight members, overseen by Co-create International. Over the last two years we’ve headlined some fantastic bands, covering many different styles and genres of music. Our hope is to allow young people who live in isolated rural Shropshire, the chance to make use of what they collectively have here, as transport and poor employment prospects can often make it difficult to get out of the place! ..
